About Us
Elizabeth Feldman Caplan
Elizabeth obtained her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston and was admitted to the California Bar in 2012. Before law school, she served as Assistant Secretary to Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and earlier spent seven years as a litigation paralegal in Boston and Washington, D.C.
At Caplan Wilkinson, Elizabeth focuses on estate planning, trust administration, and elder law advisory services. She is a member of the California Lawyers Association and its Trusts & Estates section, and the Santa Clara County Bar Association.
Teresa Gonzalez Wilkinson
Teresa earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law and began her legal career in Georgia in 1997, practicing employment law and civil rights litigation. She has been a member of the California Bar since 2016.
At Caplan Wilkinson, Teresa focuses on estate planning, probate, conservatorships, and elder abuse restraining orders. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the Santa Clara County Bar Association.

Caplan Wilkinson LLP is a boutique estate planning and elder law firm located in the Willow Glen neighborhood of San Jose, California. We help individuals, couples, and families throughout Santa Clara County plan for the future, protect their assets, and navigate the legal complexities that arise as they and their loved ones age.
Our practice focuses on estate planning, trust administration, probate, and elder law advisory services. We are a small firm — clients work directly with their attorney from the first consultation through the completion of their matter.
Our Background
Before founding Caplan Wilkinson, both of our attorneys spent years providing legal services to low-income seniors at Senior Adults Legal Assistance (SALA), a San Jose non-profit. That experience gave us a clear-eyed view of what goes wrong when people don’t plan — and what becomes possible when they do. We understand the legal vulnerabilities that come with aging, and we bring that perspective to estate planning, trust administration, probate, and elder abuse matters alike.
Serving San Jose & Santa Clara County
We serve clients throughout San Jose, Willow Glen, Campbell, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and the surrounding Santa Clara County communities. Consultations are available by phone or video, and in-person meetings are available by appointment at our Willow Glen office.
